House rules
Short and reasonable. We treat guests as adults.
Check-in & check-out
- ✓ Check-in: from 4:00 PM — self-service, key in door
- ✓ Check-out: by 10:00 AM — leave the key in the door
- ✓ Late check-out may be available — ask in advance
Occupancy
- ✓ Maximum 2 guests
- ✓ Minimum booking age: 21 years
Smoking & vaping
Strictly no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property — indoors or outdoors. This includes e-cigarettes and any other device.
Pets
No pets allowed on the property. We have livestock nearby and this is a firm rule.
Fire pits & open fires
No fire pits or open fires anywhere on the property, ever. This is a firm rule with no exceptions — the fire risk in this area is serious. The gas BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking.
BBQ
Please clean the BBQ after use and leave it as you found it. Unlimited gas is included.
Toilet & septic tank
The property is on a septic tank system. Please only flush toilet paper — no sanitary items, wet wipes, or anything else. Use the waste bin in the bathroom for everything else.
Bins & recycling
Three bins are provided. Please sort your waste:
Blue bin — paper & cardboard only
Newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes, envelopes, egg boxes, toilet roll tubes, cards. Must be clean and dry.
Not: pizza boxes, tissues, plastics, food waste
Green bin — plastics, metals & cartons
Plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays, tins, cans, aerosols, foil trays, food and drink cartons. Must be empty and clean.
Not: food waste, glass, paper, plastic bags
Grey bin — general waste
Food waste, plastic film and bags, nappies, tissues, food-soiled packaging.
Not: glass (no glass bin on site — please take to the Newtonmore recycling point)
