Muckle Meadow Pod
Home›Muckle Meadow Pod
The larger of our two glamping pods, set at an elevated position on the property with views to the hills to the west. Step through the double glass doors onto your private timber deck and you're looking out over the strath — hills, trees, sky. That's it.
Inside, everything you need and nothing you don't. King bed, a proper en-suite shower room, kitchenette with hob and microwave, and underfloor heating that keeps the pod warm right through winter. The 24" TV has Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer and more — for the evenings when you'd rather not move.
It's self-contained and private, far enough from the main house to feel like your own wee place on the hillside.
Our wildlife feeder cam sits about 60 metres from the deck — you can watch the red squirrels live before you arrive, then see the same patch of woodland in person from here.

★★★★★"Loved our stay - The pod is small but well thought through and incredibly cozy, it had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts are communicative, with a whole website of useful information and local recommendations. Beautiful surroundings - we had a deer visit!"
★★★★★"Robertson Maria’s cozy little cabin on a hill was a perfect place to lay my head and relax for three nights. We were there. After long days, exploring parts of Scotland coming back to a quiet, peaceful location was just what I needed."
★★★★★"We had a fantastic stay at Wee Wilds Muckle Meadow. The pod is cozy and the surroundings without comparison. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and this was it! The bed was comfy after a day walking and biking. From the pod, there is a lovely walk to the Center of Scotland stone. We cooked ourselves a basic breakfast and had dinner at the charming Newtonmore Grill/truck stop."
