House rules
Short and reasonable. We treat guests as adults.
Check-in & check-out
- ✓ Check-in: from 4:00 PM (standard window 4:00–6:00 PM)
- ✓ Late arrival (after 6:00 PM): please let us know in advance
- ✓ Check-out: by 10:00 AM
- ✓ Late check-out may be available — ask in advance
Occupancy
- ✓ Maximum 2 guests per room
- ✓ Minimum booking age: 21 years
Smoking & vaping
Strictly no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property — indoors or outdoors. This includes e-cigarettes and any other device.
Pets
No pets allowed on the property. We have livestock nearby and this is a firm rule.
Guest kitchen
The kitchen is open to guests until 9:00 PM. After that, it's being prepared for breakfast service.
Please wash up and leave the kitchen exactly as you found it. Rinse dishwasher items and leave them by the sink — the hosts will load the dishwasher.
Toilet & septic tank
The property is on a septic tank system. Please only flush toilet paper — no sanitary items, wet wipes, or anything else. Use the waste bin provided.
Fire pits & open fires
No fire pits or open fires anywhere on the property, ever. This is a firm rule with no exceptions.
Garden & grounds
Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden. Please stay within the property boundaries — do not go down neighbouring tracks or onto adjacent land. The garden is not fully fenced.
Bins & recycling
Three bins are provided. Please sort your waste:
Blue bin — paper & cardboard only
Newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes, envelopes, egg boxes, toilet roll tubes, cards. Must be clean and dry.
Not: pizza boxes, tissues, plastics, food waste
Green bin — plastics, metals & cartons
Plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays, tins, cans, aerosols, foil trays, food and drink cartons. Must be empty and clean.
Not: food waste, glass, paper, plastic bags
Grey bin — general waste
Food waste, plastic film and bags, nappies, tissues, food-soiled packaging.
Not: glass (no glass bin on site — please take to the Newtonmore recycling point)
